Exercising is an important component to a healthy lifestyle but it doesn’t only have preventative powers. Staying physically active after you’ve been diagnosed with cancer and even during cancer treatment can enhance physical well being, reduce the side-effects of treatment, and spur recovery.

According to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), research has not found any harmful effects on cancer patients who engage in moderate exercise. Quite the contrary, it has found that cancer patients who exercised regularly had 40 to 50 percent less fatigue, one of the most common, and most complained about, side effects during cancer treatment. When Your Health Care In Crisis

With all the shouting going on about America’s health care crisis, many are probably finding it difficult to concentrate, much less understand the cause of the problems confronting us. I find myself dismayed at the tone of the discussion (though I understand it—people are scared) as well as bemused that anyone would presume themselves sufficiently qualified to know how to best improve our health care system simply because they’ve encountered it, when people who’ve spent entire careers studying it (and I don’t mean politicians) aren’t sure what to do themselves.

Albert Einstein is reputed to have said that if he had an hour to save the world he’d spend 55 minutes defining the problem and only 5 minutes solving it. Our health care system is far more complex than most who are offering solutions admit or recognize, and unless we focus most of our efforts on defining its problems and thoroughly understanding their causes, any changes we make are just likely to make them worse as they are better.

How To Survive Breast Cancer

My grandmother had breast cancer 22 years ago. She gets checked every year to make sure it hasn’t come back. Less than 6 months her breast cancer came back in her lungs and duodenum and it was stage 4. She was in the hospital for a few weeks, very sick.

They tried a mild chemo treatment and it put her in the hospital. She was too weak for the treatment she wasn’t eating and she was not trying. They decided she couldn’t handle the chemo treatment.

If you have a loved one in the same situation, make sure they eat even if you have to feed them. It is so important.

Hospice was called in. I stayed with her every weekend.

She required a lot of help. She could not get up on her own. She could not feed herself. She couldn’t wipe herself. It was only 2 months, if that, that she went downhill so fast. All we could do was make her comfortable. Make sure she knew that is was okay for her to go.

Dr Clarence S Gonstead developed his system the Gonstead System over many years. He used results and repetition to guide the systems development.

A key principle he put forward and developed was the ‘level foundation’ principle which is paralleled in the engineering industry.
